How to Use the "Alert My Relay" Feature
Need help finding your misplaced Relay? Trying to get the attention of the Relay user? Well, the Alert My Relay feature helps provide a solution to both these conundrums.
Steps
To begin, open the Relay app
Tap on, or swipe up on, Communications
To the right of the desired Relay, tap on the Message icon
On the next screen, tap on the in-app control called Send Alert Tone
Alert
Tapping the ALERT option will cause the Relay to vibrate, play an alert tone, and flash a multicolored light for 10 seconds
Alert and Locate
Selecting the "ALERT AND LOCATE" option will cause the Relay to vibrate, play an alert tone, and flash a multicolored light for 10 seconds
The app will automatically switch to the Location tab in the app for the specific Relay in question and provide you with its current location
Additional Notes
If the Relay is offline or powered off, the "Alert My Relay" feature will not be available for use
While in Do Not Disturb mode the Relay will simply vibrate when using "Alert My Relay"
The volume of the alert tone will match that of the volume level to which the Relay was last set (this can be adjusted while it's ringing)
